Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. LONDON, March 8. (Received March 9, at 8.52 a.m.) Tho Lord Mayor presided at a meeting held to inaugurate the Bible Society's centenary. The Right Hon. Arthur J. Balfour, in the course of a warm address, said that modern researches had made the Biblo of greater interest and a moro valuable source of spiritual life than had ever been possible in its pre-eritical day.
