(Per United Press Association.) WELLINGTON, March 5. Amongst the visitors to New Zealand are Messrs Takaoka and Ando, the former being director of the Colonial Department in the Government, Hokkaido (Northern Japan), and-the latter Commissioner of Communication, Commerce, and Colonisation for Hokkaido. They are travelling round the world investigating the land systoms and conditions of commerce and agriculture in various countries. In the course of an interview with a Times representative, Mr Takaoka said that New Zealand might find a profitable market in Japan for ninny products, fie thinks that some Now* Zealand 1 ports should be included in the route of steamers now running between Australia and Japau. lIAWERA, March 5. At a meeting of delegates from the Cooperative Dairy Factories the principle of establishing a central distributing depot was affirmed. Another meeting will be held next month. CHEISTCHURCH, March 5._ A citizens' meeting decidcd to entertain the officers of the squadron at a ball. Entertainments are also being arranged for ; the men and a reception for the fleet. '
