LONDON, jiliu'ch 4. (Received March 5, at 10.14 a.m.) The steamer Killaniey lost three lifeboats in carrying a line aboard the Lima. The captain then declared that lie had no tow-rope, contradicting his previous statement. The Killamey then left the Lima, which was lost a few hours afterwards with 14 hands. Tho vessel and cargo wero worth £10,000. (Received March 5, at 8.58 a.m.) The Merion lias been re-floated. [Tho Lurin, was a composite barque of SOI tons gross, 197 ft long, 34ft beam, and 19.7 ft cloptli of lipid. She was built by Messrs Randolph, Meier, and Co., of Glasgow, and registered in Norway. The Lima, according to latest shipping files (o hand.'left Liverpool on February 17 for Dunedin, via, 'Wellington, under charter to Messrs CJracio, Beaslcy, and Co.]
