ANGLO-AMERICAN SENTIMENT.
MB CHOATE AT THE PILGRIMS' CLU-. Press Association—Br Telegraph—Copyright. LONDON, March 4. (Received March 5, at 8.7 a.m.) Mr Choate, the American Ambassador, was entertained by the Pilgrims' Club. In the course of a. speech he said that lie attributed the improved relations of Great Britain and America to the popular will in each country, also to Lord Salisbury's and Lord Lansdowne's uniform candour, fairness, and friendliness. On every question they had maintained the most cordial, warm, and hearty relations, nor could he ignore King Edward's influence in heartily cementing that union.
