VOLUNTEERS.

The annual meeting ol the Dunedin Cycle Corps was held at the Garrison Hall on Monday evening, 2nd inst., at 8 o'cjock. Lieutenant E. H. Allen was in the chair, and there was a good attendance of members. The annual report and balance sheet were read, showing the corps to bo in a good financial position. The following office-bsarers were elected:— General Committee — Corporal Gardiner, Cyclists Bliasard,' Davidson, Ilowlett, and Nelson; secretary, Cyclist F. Scalos; storekeeper, Cyclist Nelson; ammunition-keeper, Cyclist Davidson; auditors, Corporal Gardiner and Cyclist Howlett; cycle expert, Cyclist Nelson. The retiring Shooting Committee wero re-elected. Lieutenant Allen mentioned that there is every probability that the strength of the corps will he raised to 50 almost immediately. It is the intention of the officers to devote all available time to tho study of signalling in all it's branches. Anyone ctesiroiis of joining the above corps should nltcnd at tho Garrison Hall any Monday evening when tho company is on parade.
