THE POPE'S HEALTH.

(Received March 3, at 9.10 a.m.) Tho Pope is somewhat fatigued, owing to recent receptions in connection with the celebration of the twenty-fifth year of his accession. He gave audience to 42 cardinals, and, although the Papal household are not apprehensive, declaring that he is in his usual health, after 35 minutes tho venerable 1 Pontiff excused himself from a longer interview, remarking that he had been told that he must be careful. His Holiness is 93 years of age.
