TOUR OF AN ENGLISH TEAM, i The team of English crickotere organised i by Lord Hawke has continued its victorious tour. Since our last summary issue i the principal matches have been against an Otago Eleven and a team representing lh'.> South Island of the colony, The visitors scored an easy win on each occasion. The largeness of the total 'of the visitors is largely due to the indifferent catching of th«ir opponents. Warner, who scored 211 against Otago, and Taylor, who mado over the contury against the South Island, team, were both let off at an early stage of'their respective innings. The following are the fcorcs and bowling analyses, with the record to date of the tour of the visitors:—. AGAINST OTAGO. ... ENGLAND.—FIRST INNINGS. C. J.
