On taeing interviewed, he paid that he would not care to express himself very freely in regard to some phases of life in New Zealand, but, speaking industrially, and of "my own kind" he said he would be exceedingly glad to find the KUiieaniclition. of things prevailing at Homo. The supporters of the rival Labour candidate prevented him.
