(Received Sept. 2, at 10.12 a.m.) During a heavy gale off Port 'Elizabeth 11 sailing vessels were driven ashore and two tugs foundered. CAPETOWN, September 2. (Received Sept. 3, at 0.56 a:m.) Seventeen sailing vessels are ashore at Port Elizabeth v Sir Gordon. Sprigg jears the loss of life is enormous.
