Tho claim was for £50, damages sustained through plaintiff (a young woman) being gored by a cow belonging to defendant. The animal was driven along the street with a mob of cattle, nnd as plaintiff and her sister were coming round a corner the cow ru?hed and tossed th«ta both. Plaintiff received a gash on the thigh, and was laid up for several weeks. The magistrate held that defendant did not take reasonable precaution, and (should have had a drover ahead of the mob to warn people. Plaintiff's sister is also suing defendant.
