SUCCESSFUL TRIALS HELD. Press Association—B;- Telegraph—Copyright. LONDO'N, August 30. (Received August 31, at 4.25 p.m.) The trials of the latest type of British submarines have been satisfactory. The vessel dives very l-npidly, and is fitted with visual apparatus, much superior to the French periscope.
