(Received August 29, at 10.17 a.m.) The overhaul of the steam collier Duckenficld was just completed when the fore water-gauge blew out. The steam rushed into the engine room. The second engineer (Robinson)' and three men managed to escape with a severe scalding, but tWo boys (Frciuid and Lundy) were cut off, and found dead some time later, horribly scalded.
