Silt,—There are times, no doubt, when, anonymity is cxcusablc: nay, oven desirable; but when, under its clonk, your correspondent " Head Teacher" hides his identity in order to make .unfair personal attacks and to repeat statements he knows to bo incorrect, his oowardly conduct is only equalled by the "moonlighter" who shoots from behind a hedge or stabs in the back. The statement that a member of the executive rushed to" Wellington ami submitted his iniquitous scheme to the Minister is absolutely untrue. As to the fitness or otherwise of the same member for a. position on the Executive of the New Zealand Educational Institute, the opinion on this point of a man who ha? not the courago to sign his name to his letters is not worth much.
