There had been a very large increase all round. After paying an 8 per cent, dividend tho company carried forward £10,228. The meeting negatived a proposal to call up the liability on existing capital, and decided lo issue 20,000 new shares at £5 each. The chairman estimated that *60,000 would he required for new plant and buildings.
