The Addington Grand National market brought forward heavy yardings of fat stock, and there were some very choice consignments. Fat Sheep.— 7900 yarded, mostly good to extra prime wethers and ewes. Local butcher and buyers for Sydney competed keenly for prime heavy sorts. A good number were taken for export at from 19s to 295. .Freezing buyers also competed keenly, and there was an improved market ior all classes except secondary ewes.' Sheepskins.—Fairly large catalogues are being- presented each week, Tuesday, sth inst., being no exception in thie respect; while values for all sorls must be considered quite satisfactory, in comparison with London values for both wool and slcins.- : All merinos are particularly firm,'awl butchers' green skins have hardened considerably during the week, Best dry merinos, 5s Od to Gs; medium do, 3s 6d to 4.? A very lull attendance of the trade was present at the sales last Friday, and bidding was spirited throughout.
