YOUNG WOMEN'S CHRISTIAN ASSOCIATION.

-©> : The twenty-third annual hueines3 meeting of His Y.W.C.A. was held in its room" Club House, Moray place, on Wednesday evening. Tho following officers were elected: —President, Mrs Salmond; viee-nreaident, Mrs Vanes; treasurer, Mh Etmson; secretary, Deaconess Sister Clare; matron, Mi' 4 .Midler. The committee for the ensuing year is as follows:— Mosdamcs Ulcndining" flereus, Hrcwn, Dick, tiilvav, Wheeler' Sundstrom, and M'Lood, Misses H. Brown' Hare, Laing, and Roid. Sister Clare read a report ot the work done during the- year. Owing to limited accommodation the work had to bo curtailod, but the. committee liopo soon to have iho association's own building in w hioli | 0 carry cu the work. Factories and homos have been visited, and many young women have boon brought into "touch with the assoNation. The registry office and luncheon room have proved a source, of help to many.
