— A very curious fact concerning tobacco smoke is tho remarkable chnngo in colour which it undergoes after entering the mouth. From the burning end of a cigar the smoke issues in deep blue threads, while that which is expelled from the mouth is of a dccidedlv brownish tint. HO'W TO STOP A COUGH. A. simple but effective remedy is the following:— Breathing through the nostrils, inhale a full breath as slowly ae is possible without causing fatigue. Expel the breath iii the same manner and repeat the operation 10 time 3. This will stop the coughing for about a quarter of an hour. Take a, dose of Chamberlain's Cough Remedy during this lull, and the incdicino will have a better opportunity to act, and will speedily effect a complete cure. It always cure's, and cures quickly.
