LORD RAKFARLY'S MOVEMENT
(Per United Phess Association'.) NEW PLYMOUTH, July 30. Tho Governor, arrived hero by train this evening, and was' received by a guard of honour from the Taranaki Rifles and Guards, with tho Garrisca Band. At the Theatre l'oyal ho ' distributed medals' to returned troopers, and (subsequently gave an address, advocating the proposed homo for veterans. Considerable enthusiasm was shown in favour of tho project, and a large and influential/committce was appointed to further tho same, to-morrow his Excellency unveils a bust of the late Sir Harry Atkinson at the Town Hall, and attends a football match in the afternoon.
