Port- Chalmers First claim a win against the University Second by default. After an exciting and hard-fought game the Port Chalmers Second succeeded ill defeating the Union Third, by 9 points to 6. For the winners, frits were scored l.y Dceherty (2) and Percy. Mr Broadfoot made a very cflioiont referee. . SCHOOLS' RUGBY FOOTBALL. Western defeated School by 9 to 3, Christian Brothers defeated Ravensport by 13 to 7. The first trial match will be held on the Caledonian Ground on .Saturday morning at 10 o'clock.
