(Received July 29, at- 10.43 p.m.) Uuless a settlement of the'demand of the shearers for an increase of pay is effected this week serious labour troubles will extend over New South Wales and South Australia. Instructions have been sent to the unions that none of the men start shearing for less than 2os per 100, Tile chief hopes for a .settlement depend on the decision of the New South Wales Pn'storalists' Union, which meets on Wednesday. If nn amicable arrangement fails 21,000 men will be thrown idle. STRIKE IN EASTERN GALLICIA. MADRID, July 28. (Received July 29, at 9.-10 a"m.) The agricultural labourers in Eastern Galicia have risen against the landed proprietors. Upwards of 100,000 are' on strike, gome excesses have been committed. The landlords are asking for troops to quell the revolt. °
