ST. PISTER'S CHURCH CHOIR
A very enjoyable social, given bj tho members of St. Peter's Church Choir, Cargill road, took place on Thursday evening in tlie Ciwcrsliam Hall, which was tastefully decoratcd with flags and evergreens fcr the occasion. There were about- CO couples present, and praise is due to Messrs A. Allan and Mulligan (M.C.'s), who were untiring in their efforts to make ilio social a success. They were ably assisted' by the Ladies' Committee, who were also very assiduous in their duties. The following items rendered during'Hhe interval were much appreciated: — Song, Miss B. Pearce; recitation, Miss M. Pcarco; and cornc-t solo, Mr Brigga.. The stage was fitted up with ping-pong tables, which vero seldom vacant. Tlie catering, which wa.s done by Messrs Searle and Eberhardt, was excccdingiv good. Batoa's Band supplied the music. The singing of the National Anthem brought a very enjoyable evening to a close.
