SUPPOSED LOSS OF 300 LIVES. Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. ' , NEW YORK, July 11. (Received July 12, at 0.20. a.m.) An explosion occurred at tb9 Cambria Steel Company's rolling mill, colliery, Johnstown, Pennsylvania, which entombed COO men". It is feared 300 have perished. The foreman of the mine, his assistant, and two fire "bosses" perished in attempting to rescue.. Entry into the mine is impossible. The survivors escaped by an opening five miles away.
