NOTJ3. . The uostage on letters for Australia has been reduced to one penny for each half-ounce or fraction thereof. Newspapers for the Australian Slates (except Queensland, which is id for every 2oz), one penny each. The public are reminded that the postage Jii newspapers lor the United Kingdom, Queensland, and foreign oountries is Id for the first loz, and Id for each additional ?.oz; and unless newspapers are fully prepaid the department camiol guarantee to forward them by the quickest routes.
