' LONDON, July 2. (Received Jnly 3, nt 9.49 a.m.) The barque Gustave Adolph, from FremauUe to Capetown, timber laden, was wrecked. The captain and three men were drowned. NEWCASTLE, July 3. (Received July 3, at 9.57 a.m.) The steamer Balmain has returned to She met with an accident to her steering gear at the entrance and grounded, but was got off shortly after, although only skilful management carried her past the oyster bank to.sea, where temporary repairs were effected. She then returned.
SYDNEY, July 3. (Received July 4, at O.GO a.m.) ' A collision occurred' between tho steamer Civility and the New Zealand trader Vision in the harbour. Both were damaged. The latter had her jibboom and head gear carried away.
