DUNEDIN GUN CLUB.

The Duuedin Gun Club shot off their Coronation Match for £100 0:1 Friday, when there wa> a good attendance of shooting men and the public. The shooting throughout was of a high standard, and the excellent handicapping was evidenced by the fact that' at the close of the seven-bird match there were 22 ties. Thoseinterested agreed to take £2 10s each from the stake and shoot on for the remainder, but ihe shooting was so consistent that darkness compelled cessation before the result was decided, leaving four competitor—Messrs Boult, 6. P. Ayers, A. W. Barnard, and E. P. Grahamequal, each finishing up with IS birds. Mr Lewton gave every satisfaction as roferec and Mr bkiteh as secretary looked afier the visitors. Ecaiucs the competitors that were included in the last of the ties, Messrs Fraser, Cowie, Irving, Newton "Crow,' Whales, Scott, "Price" Dohson, Powell, and Tulloch shot well. Of the four left in at the final tie, two were from the Goro Gun Club and two from the local club, three of them being young shooters. The following are the scores: —
