—So plentiful has oil bccorae in the ncwly-discnvercd fields in Texas, that it is being used in different parts of the State for laying tho duat- on tho highways instead of water. Half a barrel a milo is sprinkled each day, and is expelled from tho carta hot. It ecmsnls the dust without creating anyirrud.
