Aslin delivered an interesting address, based or. his own experience of the drink traffic and its victims, He eaid tho friends of temperance need not despair,'for tho battio was the Lord's, and every great and. noble victory had been won by worlc and patience, Ho cxliortcd them to make the tight a personal matter, and not etand idly by asking "Am I my brother's keeper?" aq in tho criminality of tho crimes committed by its agency no profession o£ ignoranco would relieve anyone from sharing the heavy responsibility of these crimes until their utmost influence had been exerted in the emise of temperance and righteousness. Mr L". Macfarlano presided as chairman. Mrs Holmes sang " Ora Pro Nobis, , ' and the choir rendered several anthems. ■ ■ ..
