JPeb United Pbess Assooutiop?.) : ~ INVERCABGILL, April, I.' A fire at Riverton on Saturday night dfr stroyed Mooro's hall and four shops—all oJ them wooden buildings. They were occupied by J. Moore (tailor), J. Lyle (mining agent), F. Nash (painter), and A. Anderson' (solicitor). . The building was insured in tho Standard office for £400, and Moore's stock in the same office for £100 and in the Victoria for a similar amount. Nash's stock was insured in tho Standard offico for £30. The Now Zealand, Standard, and Alliance Companies each have a risk on Robertson's building and stock, the total insurances being £1500, but the damage was only slight. .* , ■
