For Northern Ports, per Mararoa, at 2 p.m. For' Australian Colonieß (via Hobart), India, China, Straits Settlements, South Africa, Mauritius, Mediterranean Ports, Continent of Europe, United Kingdom, etc., per south train, to connect with the Waihora at tho Blufi! at 8 a.m. Due in London May 12. Registered letters at 5 p.m. on tho Ist, and money orders at 4 p.m. on the Ist. Parcels for Australia close r.t 3 p.m. on the Ist. Correspondence for the United Kingdom to bo specially addressed, via Melbourne. GOOD FRIDAY. Good Fridcy will be obEervcd 13 a close holiday. All moils usually despatched on that date will be closed at 8 p.m. on 'i'hundny, 4th April. On Easter Monday the usual despatch of mails will be made up to 10 a.m. The oSico will he open from\3 to 10 a.m. only. At the Port Chalmers office at 8.45 a.m. on tlu 10th, money orders nt 4 p.m., registered letters at 5 p.m. on the Oth. Due in London May 11.
Parcels for United States and Canada will close at 9.30 a.m. on Tuesday, 9th.

Discount stampn at one farthing may now be procured at stninp counter, C.P.0., on application for a quantity of not less than ss. These stamps cannot bo used for letters or telegrams. E.
