SYDNEY, March 30, (Received March 30, at 9,28 a.m.) • A daring robbery has been perpetrated at the Hotel Australia, by which two lady guests were robbed of jewellery, valued at £1000 and £300 respectively. The thieves used duplicate keys of'tho rooms during the absence of the owners. SENTENCE FOR EMBEZZLEMENT. Grenfell, for the banic robbery at Wood ; full, was sentenced to 18 months' hard labour.
