What a. solemn thought it is—" the use or misuse of our talent "—especially from such as in high positions of tremendous responsibility as yourself. fiod !»rand that He may put it into your heart to writo many such articles, and thus . vastly, help to stay the .ever-increasing tide of worldliness, the .inordinate love of pleasure, the scramble for' tho •_ gold that perieheth ,iit the expense? of principle tho sluorgish indifference to anything higher; than the daily round, and tho utter ignorance of a great proportion of your renders of what the " pure fountain of spiritual life " might mean (verily a big bill-of-fare).
