AUCKLAND NEWS NOTES.

His Excellency the Governor paid a visit during the afternoon to the studio of Mr Allen Hutchinsbn, the English sculptor, residing at Mount Roskill, and was quite astonished with the class of work he saw there, especially with the model of a statue of Sir George Grey in a sitting position.
