THE AFRIKANDER BOND'S OFFER.
BOTHA AND DE WET AS COUNCILLORS. LONDON, February 7. (Received Feb. 7, at 11.6 p.m.) The Afrikander Bond has offered to urge the Boers to surrender if they are allowed to retain their farms, and the rebels in the new British colonies are not punished. Prominent burghers suggest that Botha and Dβ Wet should join the Council of the Governors of the Transvaal and Orange River colonies to watch the burghers' interests in the respective colonies.
