AUCKLAND, February 2,—Arrived: Pakeha, from London. v WELLINGTON, February 3.—Sailed: Gothic, for London. The bitrquentine Trank Guy was towed up to Dunedin on Saturday morning to discharge cargo. ' The Zior, from Greymouth, \fith a cargo of sleepers,' readied Dunedjp about 7 o'olqqk on Sit»rday evening, and was berthed at the jetty street wharf.

The Isabella Anderson, from Kaipara, with a cargo of timber, sailed up to Dunedin on Saturday afternoon, and was berthed at the Rattray street wharf about 7 o'clock. The Ikhona left Dunedin wharf, for Calcutta, via Sydney, on Saturday afternoon about 3 o'clock.

The s.s. Invercargill sailed at 11 o'clock for Invercargill on Saturday morning.

The s.s. Westralia left Sydney at 5.30.p.m. on the 26th January, cleared the heads at 6.30 p.mi, and arrived at Wellington at 9.30 p.m. on the 30th. She left again at 7.30 p.m. on tho following day, and reachcd Lyttelton at 10 a.m. She left that port at 8 p.m. on the Ist inst., and arrived at Dunedin at 1 p.m. on Saturday. Fine weather was experienced throughout the trip. The Rimu was expected to arrive late last night. . The N.Z.S. Comrany's s.d. Otar.irna has done remarkably well since her arrival at Port Chalmers. Despite the bad weather which has prevailed, she has put out some 2900 tons of cargo, inclusive of some 20 heavy liftsone being 9 tons, for the Southland Implement Company, and-said to be a magnificent piece of machinery. She is' expected to be clear of cargo by Tuesday morning, and soil for Lyttelton. She afterwards returns to Port Chalmers to take in Homeward cargo.

Should the troopship Britannic arrive at Port Chalmers on Monday evening it is the intention of tho Union Steam Slip Company to light the George street pier by electricity.

The U.S.S. Company's steamship Mararoa. Captain E. Phillips, with passengers and oargo from Sydney, via the East Coast ports, arrived alongside the Bowen pier. Port Chalmers, at 5.20 a.m. yesterday,' and proceeded to Dunedin on the afternoon's tide. She left Sydney on the 23rd ult., and encountered very heavy weathef after clearing the heads until she rounded Capo Maria Van Diemen. Thence she had fine weather, and reached Auckland at 4 p.m. of the' 27th ult.; left for southern ports on (he 29tli, called at Gisborne, Napier, Wellington, and Lyttelton, arriving as above. She had fine weather, with light winds, throughout the passage from Auckland to Dunedin.
