I3"<\ks and newspapers, 10 a.m. Late-fee letters must hear, in addition to the ordinary pos'.nge—ld for inland letters. 2d for letters for Australia and the South Sea Islands, and 2Sd for foreign countries. FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 1. For Sydney direct, per Ikhona, at noon. For Australian Colonies (except Tasmania), per Mokoia, at 10 a.m. Money orders on the 31st at 4 p.m., and registered letters at 5 p.m. on 31st January. For Lyttelton \ and Christchurch, per To Anau, at 4 p.m. SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 2. FUNERAL OF HER LATE MAJESTY THE QUEEN. The Post Offices will be open in all branches from 8 to 10 a.m., and from 7 to 9 p.m., for the sale of stamps and delivery of letters. DIRECT SERVICE. For London (direct) at 10 a.m. (connecting with tho s.s. Gothic at Wellington, sailing from that port at 10 a.m. on Saturday, 2nd February). Specially addressed correspondence. Parcels mail closes at 9.30 a.m. Due in London on 17th March. MONDAY, FEBRUARY 4. SAN FRANCISCO MAIL SERVICE. For Northern Ports of New Zealand, Samoa, Sandwich Islands, Japan, Philippine Islands, United States of America, Canada, South America, West Indies, United Kingdom, and Continent of Europe, at 10 a.m. Money orders at 10 a.m., registered correspondence at 8 p.m. on Saturday, 2nd. Book packets and newspapers at 9 a.m. on the 4th inst. The above mail will close at the branch Post Offices, Roslyn. North-East Valley, North Dunedin, and South Dunedin. tor money orders at 10 a.m., and registered letters at 8 p.m. on the 2nd inst.; letters at 9 a.m., nnd newspapers at G a.m. on tho 4th inst. At the Port Chalmers office at 8.45 a.m. on the 4th inst.; money orders at 10 a.m.. registered letters at 8 p.m. on the 2nd inst. The above mail will be due in London on tho 6th March. Mails for South Africa, via Sydney and Durban. close at Bluff sth February, at 6 p.m. Mails for Natal and Capetown, per Narrung, from Melbourne 12th February, and Wilcannia, on the 26th. Mails for Tonsra. Samoa, and Fiji close at Auckland 16th February, at 11 a.m. Note.—The postage on letters to Australia will remain at twopence, letters prepaid one penny will be suHinrced. E.
