A HORSE WITH TWO OWNERS.

TO THE miTOH Sin—A letter ovor the name oi William Waddell appears in a recent issue of vour paper, in which it is stated that Mr W. Dunlop exhibited a three-year-old entire under the name of Vanquisher at the late Goro show, and that Mr R. Cupples exhibited the same animal at tho Invercargill show. With your kind permission, I would correct this statement. Mr s W. Dunlop did not exhibit the animal named, but through a prin-1 ter's error his name did appear as the owner of the horse. This error was corrected as soon as discovered, and Mr Waddell could easilv have found it was so if he had applied to the proper person for the information.—l am, &c., , John Latham, Secretary Gore A. and P. Association. . Gore, January "8, 1
