CALEDONIAN v. TAIERI. This fixture wes played on the Taieri Club's green at Mosgiel on Saturday afternoon. The Caledoni-ms in two drags, and as the weather was very pleasant the drive was much enjoyed. The game resulted in a victory for the Taieri Club, who proved themselves to ba ot " hcariir metal" than their visitors. As usual the ladies of the Taieri tried to excel themselves, it possible, in providing afternoon tea, .with the usual concomitants of good things, which wore very highly , appreciated indeed.
