Daily Times Officc, Friday evening. The amount of revenue collected at tho custom house to-day on Roods cleared for consumption was £2697 4s lid. TIMARU WOOL SALE. (Per United Press Association.) TIMARU, January 4. The second wool sale of the season opened last night and concluded this morning. The catalogue comprised 5861 bales. Tho sale was an excellent one. A pleasing feature was tho small quantity passed in. The prices obtained were above those ruling at the previous sale by about 2d to Id on hnlfbred and merino; }d to Id on three-quarterbreds. Tho prices obtained at the sale were:—Halfbred super, 7jd to Bid; do medium, 6d to 7Jd; three-quarterbred, 5d to Gld; crossbred medium to fine, skl to 6d; do coarse, 4Jd to 5Jd; merino super, 7Jd to 8M; medium, Gd to 7Jd; merino pieces, to 7Jd; cross and haifbred pieces and hollies, 3d to sd; locks, 2d to 3d.
