The Mornington Borough Council invite TENDERS for the PURCHASE of— 80 DEBENTURES of £100 each (at a minimum of par), being the amount required to be borrowed for street improvements. The Debentures will be for a term of 21 years from the Ist March, 1901, bearing i per cent, interest, payable in Dunedin half-yearly on the Ist September and Ist March in each year, to be issued at the rate of 20 Debentures in each year—viz., 1001, 2, 3, and 4. The Security of the Loans will be the Renvs and General Revenue of the Borough of Mornington, and Each Debenture and Eneli Coupon therof is a "Debt of the Corporation to the holder thereof. A Deposit of 5 per cent., by marked cheque, on the amount tendered for must accompany each tender, which will be returned to the unsuccessful tenderers.
