TO TDK EDITOR. Sin, —In connection with the approaching Christmas season. I crave the sympathy of your many readers on behalf of the poor and needy of this city. The Salvation A rmy has in its homes a number of women and children, who. though subjects of misfortune, nevertheless have such toolings as would make them appreciate any consideration extended to them. For the sake of these, and also for those who. without some assistance, will spend a cheerless Christmas, I earnestly appeal to the public generosity.
