OTAGO SUNDAY SCHOOL UNION.
A meeting of the Executive Committee of the Otago Sunday School Union was held on Thursday afternoon, when there were proFcnt: Rev. J. J. Lewis (president, in the .hair), Mrs Don. Misses Nicol and Laing, K»v= .T. Muirhoad and J. G. M'Lood, and Messrs ». AVrighi. \V. T. Todd, V.'. Gray J. I?-irquharscn .T Kcid. A. Sharp, and H. Webb (secretary). Votes of thanks were passed to the Deacon-' Court of Knox Church for the use of the cimrch for the recent distribution of prizes: to the lUv. _W. Hew.tson for the dislvil.ution of the pyacs- to the cx:iminfT3, ond csTH-cin.lly to then- secretary, for their laborkm,: work in commrt.up: the examination, and to Mr Barth anti Air Brail, for their kind office at the service. In connection with the century demonstration on 30th January next U was dfivid.v to invite roprosentntives of all the city and suburban Sunday schools to meet the Executive Committee at the Y.Yv'.C.A. Rooms on Wednesday, 19th inst., at 7.30 p.m.
