WELLINGTON, December 14.
The timber millers' dispute, which had been adjourned in order to allow of the country millers to be attached, came before the Conciliation Board to-day. One hundred and twenty-four country employers, employing about 6000 men, /.vere then cited from places extending as far away as Taranaki and Hawke's Bay. Strong objection was taken that the country millers had no disputje with their,' hands, and the suggestion wils made ~ tliat country employers be struck off, and a. separate dispute filed against them. Eventually the board decided to prpceed witji the case as against the city employers, and adjourn that in reference to the country till the 14th of January. ; At the request of-\ trade .unionists up - country, the sa'wmiflers have been attached in the timber trade dispute, now being heard before the Conciliation Board. '■The case has been adjourned till Monday.
