THE ELANDS RIVER GARRISON.
300 BRITISH CAPTURED.
LONDON, August 10. (Received August 11, at 0.45 a.m.) The Boers barred General Carrington's relief of the Elands River garrison, where 300 British were captured.
The Elands River garrison included 140 Australian Bushmen.
