CASUALTIES.
Our Clyde correspondent telegraphs that Mr John Butler, Bald Hill Flat, met with an accident through falling- off his horse on Tuesday. Latest report says that tho accident was not attended by any serious results.
Tho wife of Frank Pernisky, farmer, near Outram, was found dead in her bed about 3 o'clock on' Monday morning. She had been suffering from spinal complaint for some 3'eo-re, and was last attended by a. medical man somo six months ago. She retired to bed about 10 o'clock, in her usual state of health, and was found dead by her husband. Death is believed, to be due to natural causes.
The body of a. man, about 50 years of ago, whose identity is unknown, was found on tho beach at Waiomo on Thursday last (says tho Thames Advertiser). Appearances indicated that the body had been in "the water about 10 days. The face was almost entirely gone.
