A: meeting of the Ocean Beach Domain Board was held last evening. There were prey sent—Messrs A.-C. Begg (in the chair), kJ..' H Hancock,; and D. Stirling. His Worship, the Mayor'and Mr E. B. It v:, l v.:Mr Hancqck-reported that the Public Works engineer was too busy just new.-to attend to. the'scrub: fencing which the board proposed to have done with the £100 granted by the Government.—On the.motion of the Chairman, Messrs Hancock and Stirling were appointed a committee to attend to this work. They .were also empowered to expend bSa in. nlantirig marram grass and lupins. . P It wS decided to write to the owners of the St. Clair Park, asking permission. to cut and utilise some, of the manuka scrub growing in the park." "_
