PRESENTATIONS.
On Saturday, at the warehouse of P. Hay* man and Co., the staff of the firm presented Mr Max Hayman, who leaves Dunodin for England this week, with a handsome album of New Zealand views. Mr Colin, who made the presentation on behalf of the employees, hoped the memento would serve to recall the manyyears spent in New Zealand. He would take that opportunity of wishing Mr and Mrs Haynvm and family bon voyage. Tbe recipient, who was quite taken by surprise, suitably acknowledged tho present arid kind wishes^ A very pleasing ceremony took place at the Port Chalmers' Hotel, when Mr J. H. Crawford was presented, on the eve of his marriage, with a mark of esteem from a. number of friends. Mr W. J. Wilson, in making the presentation, which consisted of a handsome sideboard and mirror, referred in eulogistic terms to the many pleasant associations connected with the recipient, and, in the names of the donors, wished him success, . after which the healths of'Mr Crawford, and. his future bride v/ere drunk with enthusiasm. . Mr Crawford feelingly and suitably responded.
