A BATTLE NEAR DEWETSDORP

THE BOERS DRIVEN BACK. LONDON. April 22. (Received April 23, txl 0.35 a.m.) General Bundle fought the enemy five miles west of Dewetsdorp on Friday. The artillery duel lasted from noon till dusk. Twj of the enemy's guns were silenced. The mounted troops outflanking and opening fire, the Boers were driven to the second ridge, the British occupying the first ridge with a few wounded.
