DUNEDIN FOOTBALL CLUB.
The annual meeting of the Dunedin Foot: ball Club was held at the Grand Hotel last night. Mr S. Solomon (president) occupied the chair, aud there was a, large attendance. Before the business of the meeting commenced, . The Chairman said' he hoped the club would start the year vigorously, and do their best to keep the club together.. .He was quite sure they would rally round the flag during the coming year and do better than they did last year. There was no reason why the club should not do as well as the rest of tho. clubs in Dunedin. He need hardly tell \them that although he was not able to attend all the meetings, he took a great interest in the doings of the club, and he would do his best in the future, as he had done in the past, to ideutify himself with..the club. Last year the club had a debit balance of £6 Is lid, and at one time they owed the Caledonian Society £20, which was generously reduced to £15. The club had paid or? all their liabilities, and had now a credit balance of £14- 7s 7d. The annual report, which has already been published, was taken as read. . The balance, sheet, which was submitted to the meeting, showed the receipts. for the year to be .£44 5s lOd, and the expenditure £34- 8s 3d, there being a credit balance, of
£9 17s 7d. There were also outstanding subscriptions amounting to £4- 10s. On the motion of Mr Sullivan, seconded by Mr Hobbs, the report and balance sheet were adopted.
