TO THE EDITOK. Sir,—lt seems to me that anything our Agent-general does must be pulled to pieces by someone in this community. I always read the very interesting articles in your" paper written by Major Kennedy, and this gentleman is aDTi'y regarding the statement of Boer losses. He says the Boer officers ought to know their losses better than our Agentgeneral ; vet several times he himself has said that the smalluess of the enemies' losses must be taken for what they are worth. Again, others a.re sneering because Mr Reeves thoughtfully telegraphed to Maior Robin asking if the troops v/ere well supplied with comforts.
