PURCHASE OF HORSES.
As will be noticed in our advertising columns, the committee earnestly request that donors of horses will allow the agents of the committee to purchase oh their behalf. The committee has had placed at its disposal the services of tho best buying exports in the province, and in order that the best possible use may be made of the money which is being so generously subscribed, they do not hesitnto to give-'the advice already mentioned. In some cases the men are bringing their own horses, and such as arc suitable are accepted; but it is felt to he of the utmost importance that Uir greatest care should be exercised, and to ensure that it is cniitfi unsafe to rely upon tho common impression that every Briton knows a good horse when he sees it.
